A week from now, world's largest professional pool league will take place at the First Middle School Gymnasium of Shuangyashan for the 2018 World Chinese 8-Ball Masters #3 Shuangyashan Station. Around 380 players from 20 countries are expected to join in this Chinese 8-ball spectacle.
No need to say, the growing legion of foreign players are on their way to China. We will see Sanjin Pehlivanovic, the young promising player from Bosnia as well as the Filipino duo Jeffrey Ignacio and Johann Chua. They have accumulated attention and support following their masterful display at Siping. Aden Joseph, the winner of a brand-new car in South Africa will surely keep competing for the glory. Some exciting new faces like Alejandro Belmonte from Spain, JC Ouaknine from France and John Burrell from England are prepared to showcase their talent in Shuangyashan as well.
This has so far been the best season for Myammar's very own Phone Myint Kyaw in his Chinese 8-ball career. He picked up the pace steadily and chalked up to the 15th place in the ICEA rankings after the Linyi and Siping station. Despite a loss to Zhang Kunpeng in the quarter-final at Siping, abundant ranking points means Phone can now enjoy his first spell in the world top 16, and an automatic spot in the round of 64 without the need for playing Stage 1 & 2 at Shuangyashan.
TV-standard high quality coverage is what the pool world has been missing for years but we are dedicated to bring you what this sport truly deserves.
